More MISC stuff from Last Month

Here's the old trusty B16a that made 162whp. Too bad it could never pass smog and was retired years ago.

Oh well the head is definitely still good and is what I'm planning on running on top of the 2.0L GSR.

It has 15k miles on it almost exactly. The only real issue at this point is the fact that it has 1st Gen JDM B16a cams in it which are supposed to be the mildest cam for this engine. I will replace them with GSR's or bigger when I boost it. Aside from that it's basically built. It is mostly ITR internals with a minor port and polish.
Here it is after getting back from the machine shop with a 5 angle valve job. Can't tell a difference except that its cleaner. You can still see the port/polished exhaust ports on it from the last build.
BTW here's some pics of me in High School Doing the Port n Polish work. Actually I think I was just starting to sand and then polish in these pics.

 Getting there....
Done! Honestly, I will probably never do that again in my life. I think my Dad's still doing it with his Mustang Heads right now. I am not sure but he's completely insane so that's a different story completely.
Decided one night about a week ago that I would install the windshield wiper cowl. Surprisingly took me like an hour to do.
Here's the HIR-2 and HIR-1 beams that are currently installed in the RED Crx. They're like 100 bucks for all 4 but definitely worth it for old crx/civic owners. A lot better IMO than the HID conversions that throw light everywhere. I didn't really notice a difference until I was driving in the rain at night and could see again.
Here's a better picture of the cargo cover that the family actually restored together. Dad and I riveted on a piano hinge to the middle. Then Mom and Dad recovered the fabric while I was at work. I think it looks great now.

Here's a shot of the completely finished rear interior. All I technically need for it to be complete are the bumpers that go on the bottom/back of the rear shelf that NO ONE in the world seems to have.
I've spent so many nights and days doing boring ass cleaning/polishing.

Had the glass guys come and remove the rear window. Dad and I bent another one of the lower moldings for the window when we tried to install it with the glass in. Decided we'd call the pro's and have them fix the broken defroster connector and install all the moldings and such.
Also, had them install the front windshield and rear quarter windows while they were here.
All the back windows installed. YAY.
Dad also went to the locksmith and re keyed all the locks in the car. The only lock the key actually worked in was the ignition cylinder. Had to redo the security box and the rear tailgate lock.
Oh and the wiring harness that I showed in the last post. That was actually ordered from Ebay. We ended up stripping the original 88 HF wiring harness for the correct wire colors. Even with that harness Dad still ended up in Pick n Pull a few times while I was at work to find the correct wiring. We literally probably  have miles of honda wiring at our house now.
